We exist to equip and support the home to make disciples that make disciples.
All of our volunteers go through a background check and also receive training before serving in our Kids Ministry. Our volunteers are passionate about providing an exciting and safe atmosphere where children can learn to trust and follow Jesus.
Sundays begin for our Grace City Kids by checking in through our safe and secure check-in system. At this time, you and your child will receive matching check-in slips. Afterward, you will be escorted to an age-appropriate class (from nursery to 5th grade) where our Grace City Kids Volunteers will be waiting to greet you. From there, you can say goodbye to your child and make your way into the auditorium for the service. If your child has any issues, rest assured that we will contact you via text message.
Our desire is to not only invest in your child during the Grace City Kids time but to also equip you, the parent, to invest in them 24/7. We seek to achieve this goal through the D6 model.
D6 is a movement intentional about empowering parents, homes, marriages, leaders, and churches to live out the story of Deuteronomy 6. This Scripture paints a beautiful picture of the family and of God’s heart for discipleship at home. The family is God’s original small group. D6 provides resources to align the church and home to accomplish God’s design of generational discipleship.
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[b] 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
