Frequently Asked Questions

We Have Answers

What age group is the Summer Kids Fest for?

The Summer Kids Fest caters to children aged preschool and up. Specifically, our kids fest program is designed for preschoolers aged 4 to 5 and elementary school children aged 6 to 11. Each age group will engage in age-appropriate activities and lessons tailored to their developmental stage.

Can I drop off my child?

Yes, you can drop off your child for summer fest. We kindly request that parents accompany their children to our Kids Check-In tent before 10:30AM to facilitate a smooth check-in process if you are dropping kids off. Our service concludes at 11:45AM for pickup. However, you are more than welcome to join us for our adult church service while your kids are in class!

Can I attend with my child?

Yes, we have a church service for adults while your kids are in class and we would love to have you join! Service starts at 10:30AM and gets out at 11:45AM.

What safety measures are in place during the event?

Safety for your kids is our top priority at Grace City! All kids participating in our Summer Kids
Fest will go through the necessary check-in and check-out procedures we have in place on
Sundays, ensuring that only authorized individuals can drop off and pick up your children. We
will also make sure our volunteer-to-child ratio is carefully maintained to provide adequate
supervision. Additionally, all of our volunteers go through a thorough background check before
being cleared to teach in any of our classes at service.

What should my child bring/wear to the Summer Kids Fest?

We recommend dressing your child in comfortable attire suitable for both classroom learning
and active participation in outdoor activities. For Splash Sunday, please have your child wear a
swimsuit underneath clothing and bring a towel. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen before arriving
to keep your child protected during outdoor activities.

Is there a cost associated with attending the Summer Kids Fest?

No, our Summer Kids Fest is a free event open to all families in our community!

What will my child be learning during the Summer Kids Fest?

Each Sunday, the kids will be learning stories and themes from the Bible that align with the
weekly event theme. Our engaging curriculum will combine interactive storytelling, hands-on
activities, and meaningful discussions to help your child’s spiritual growth and understanding of
biblical principles.

Do I need to register my kids before attending on Sunday?

To help us know how many kids to expect, we encourage you to register below. However, we will be happy to have any kid join us whether they are pre-registered or not!
